The Institute’s Innovation & Technology Initiative develops leading thinking and practices for managing the ethical challenges that emerge from technological advancement and innovation.
Innovation and technology advancements are not only important to business, they also are critical for the creation of social value. For example, new medical devices offer improved diagnoses and treatment.
By their very nature, however, such changes bring with them real or potential ethical challenges. Innovation can change the moral environment, by altering existing relationships of introducing new dilemmas.
Our Innovation & Technology Initiative will empower executives to make better ethical decisions by giving them tools to recognize potential dilemmas and ethical conflicts as part of the innovation process.
